Your Role:
- Managing the day-to-day operation of CFM's 'Asia ex-Japan' Alpha Capture program.
- Developing relationships with brokers, research providers and technology vendors to identify best in class services.
- Maintaining regular meeting schedules with brokers to deliver the expectations and opportunity message. Travel.
- Operating a front-end Alpha Capture platform, while proposing enhancements, from concept test to implementation.
- Keeping an up-to-date CRM to track interactions and outline next steps.
- Self-sufficient, able to carry on regional responsibilities with little supervision.
Your experience and skillset:
- 5+ years of working experience in an external-facing role in the financial markets. (e.g., Equity Sales, Trading, FinTech Sales, Advisory, Broker Relations)
- Mandarin and English speaker, both at working-proficiency or better.
- Ability to generate successful commercial relationships with counterparties in financial institutions and vendors.
- Above basic technology skills: eg MS Office, Bloomberg.
- Familiarity with scripting or query languages (Python and similar) is a plus.
- Mindset: Curious, adaptable, eager to pick up new tools and keep learning.
- Evidence of high levels of self-motivation, strong work ethic and determination.
