Mission

As a Data Scientist in the Data Corporate team, your mission is to transform diverse datasets into actionable insights by employing rigorous statistical analysis, testing, industrialization, and innovative feature engineering to enhance our quantitative strategies.

Your role will be key in alpha generation as you will be involved in every step from exploration to production.

Responsibilities

  • Willingness to be business knowledgeable on data
  • Understanding data structures and patterns 
  • Managing the technical relationships with our providers 
  • Support Quantitative Researchers in their day-to-day activities 
  • Maintain a meticulous approach to data analysis and model development ensuring high-quality outcomes
  • Extracting actionable features from these data 
  • Understanding business issues to identify new modelling pathways
  • Designing machine learning models to unveil predictive value 
  • Contributing to the development and maintenance of Data Corporate Platform 
  • Designing robust, efficient, scalable, and monitored production pipelines 
  • Ensuring continuous technology watch 
  • Actively participating in the team knowledge sharing rituals

 

Qualifications for the role (depending on seniority)

  • You have a master’s degree (ideally a Master’s in machine learning or data science) from engineering school or university equivalent
  • You have a hands-on (at least 3 years) experience manipulating Data in a production environment
  • Expertise in SQL and Python, specifically in the data science stack (Scikit-learn, Numpy, Pandas, Polars, Seaborn,  etc..)
  • You are familiar with cloud technologies, such as AWS
  • You have end-to-end experience in machine learning and data engineering, extending through to the production phase 
  • You are versatile, autonomous, and rigorous, with a team player attitude and good communication skills 
  • You have a professional-level knowledge of English
  • Demonstrated ability to balance meticulous attention to detail with efficiency in delivering high-impact solutions
  • You are inquisitive with a good aptitude for synthesizing information in a business-oriented manner
