ABOUT THE ROLE
The Data Insights Macro team works closely with Research teams to make statistical analysis and predictive models drawing on macro datasets.
As an expert on time series analysis, you will take part, from the exploratory phase up to production launches, in:
- Testing new datasets for Alpha Research
- Extracting relevant features from these datasets
- Contacts with our data providers
- Designing prediction models using Machine Learning applied to time series
- Understanding business issues in order to identify new modelling pathways
- Launching and monitoring analytics on new datasets and models.
SKILLSET REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
- You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a related position.
- You have a master’s degree (ideally a Master’s in machine learning or data science) from engineering school or university equivalent.
- You have mastered the python stack of data science tools and libraries (Numpy, Pandas, Matplotlib, Jupyter).
- You are proficient in time series analysis and forecasting techniques.
- You are familiar with Macroeconomic data.
- You are familiar with distributed computing tools and cloud technology (Spark, AWS, SageMaker).
- You are versatile, autonomous, and rigorous, with a strong team spirit and good communication skills.
- You are production and result oriented.
- You have a professional-level knowledge of English.
