Your Role
As a Data Scientist in the Data Insights Macro team, your mission is to contribute to the transformation of macroeconomic and alternative datasets into actionable insights by employing rigorous statistical analysis, testing, industrialization, and innovative feature engineering to enhance our quantitative strategies.
Your role will be key in alpha generation as you will be involved in every step from exploration to production. Key Responsibilities
Understanding data structures and patterns.
Extracting actionable features from these data.
Designing machine learning models to unveil predictive value.
Understanding data business issues to identify new modelling pathways.
Support Quantitative Researchers in their day-to-day activities.
Managing technical relationships with our providers.
Designing robust, efficient, scalable, and monitored production pipelines.
Actively participating in the team knowledge sharing rituals.
Your Skills
You have experience of a maximum of 3 years in hands-on Data manipulation in a production environment.
You have a master’s degree (ideally in machine learning or data science) from engineering school or university equivalent.
You have mastered the python stack of data science tools and libraries (numpy, pandas, polars, scikit-learn)
You are proficient in time series analysis and ML forecasting techniques.
You are familiar with Macroeconomic data.
You are familiar with cloud technologies, such as AWS
You are versatile, autonomous, and rigorous, with a strong team spirit and good communication skills.
You have a professional-level knowledge of English.
