ABOUT THE ROLE 

 

CFM is hiring a Head of Sustainability. Reporting to the Head of Regulatory, you will be tasked with evaluating, advancing, and monitoring the firm’s corporate sustainability initiatives. You will navigate the complex requirements that apply to the firm, taking into account industry practices, and develop a sustainability approach that aligns with CFM’s business objectives. Your duties will include: 

 

  • Conduct an assessment of CFM's current sustainability initiatives; 

  • Develop the firm’s sustainability policy and related initiatives; 

  • Stay updated on sustainability regulations and market practices; 

  • Recommend and actively engage in relevant industry initiatives; 

  • Spearhead new sustainability initiatives in line with our policies and with particular focus on the firm’s carbon footprint; 

  • Provide regular updates and reports on sustainability to senior management; 

  • Manage regulatory reporting as required by regulators and investors; 

  • Enhance internal communication dedicated to sustainability and develop collaborative initiatives with staff; and 

  • Communicate and present’s CFM’s sustainability initiatives to investors. 

 

SKILLSET REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS 

 

  • You have 10+ years of experience; 

  • You have a strong scientific background with a degree from a top-tier institution; 

  • Ideally, you have at least 5 years of experience with similar responsibilities in the private sector; 

  • You are a team player with attention to detail and the ability to deliver; 

  • You are comfortable working independently; 

  • You have excellent written and oral presentation/communication skills; 

  • You have a good understanding of the regulatory landscape surrounding sustainability,
