Your Role
We are looking for an intern for a duration of 6 months to contribute to the development of the Position Management Web Application.
As part of our Portfolio Management development team, in a dynamic production environment, you will work on a web application dedicated to trade and event booking, trade management, and position update.
The application covers all asset classes and supports the booking and handling of a wide range of events impacting positions.
A key aspect of the project is its direct connection to CFM’s Position Keeping System, making it a central tool for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and efficiency of position management workflows.
You will contribute to the design, development, and improvement of this application, working closely with developers and trading support teams to deliver efficient and reliable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
-Develop a web application for Position Management and Trade booking.
-Build and improve features supporting trading position update and modification across all asset classes.
-Collaborate with the development team to design high-performing applications.
-Understand business needs and translate them into new features.
-Conduct testing to ensure the quality and reliability of the application.
-Participate in the continuous improvement of the application’s performance, usability, and maintainability.
Your Skills
-Currently in your final year of an engineering school or university program, with a major in computer science.
-Strong interest in web application development and software engineering.
-Good knowledge of front-end technologies, including TypeScript, Angular or similar frameworks.
-Understanding of backend development concepts; knowledge of Python and Fast API is a plus.
-Ability to understand complex business requirements and translate them into practical technical solutions.
-Comfortable working in a demanding, fast-paced production environment.
-Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
-An interest in finance is welcomed and would be a strong plus.t of the application’s performance, usability, and maintainability.
