ABOUT THE POSITION

 

As we embark on an exciting phase of expansion, CFM is looking to significantly enhance our operational structure to support our ambitious growth trajectory. In line with this vision, we are actively investing in building a robust and efficient procurement function that will be pivotal in streamlining processes and driving value through strategic partnerships.

 

We are seeking a dynamic Procurement Manager who will play a critical role in establishing the IT procurement function at CFM, managing the acquisition of IT equipment and services, including data, with a focus on cost-effectiveness, quality, and efficiency. This role is integral to our ongoing recruitment and expansion efforts, supporting our commitment to innovation and success.

 

 

Missions:

 

  • Department Creation: Establish and build the IT procurement department from the ground up, developing innovative strategies and processes to support CFM's expansion and strategic initiatives.
  • Identification of requirements: solid understanding of IT products and services to be able to provide an overview of existing solutions and vendors
  • Sourcing and Vendor evaluation: Conduct thorough evaluations of vendors with a focus on service quality and pricing, ensuring alignment with our aggressive growth targets.
  • Negotiation of contracts:  Lead negotiations to secure favorable pricing, terms, and SLAs, positioning CFM competitively in the market.
  • Contract Management:
    • Drafting, reviewing, and managing purchase contracts to ensure compliance with organizational policies and legal standards.
    • managing contract renewals, amendments, and terminations.
  • Contract Inventory & reporting: Maintaining accurate records of purchase orders, contracts, and financial transactions, as well as producing reports for management review.
  • Relationship management:  working efficiently with vendors and all CFM stakeholders (IT and Data teams, HR, accounting)
  • Continuous improvement: Continuously seek opportunities for cost savings and process improvements / Analyze market trends and stay up to date with new technologies to provide insightful purchasing recommendations.

 

 

Skills:

 

  • 10 years’ experience in a similar role
  • A track record of having set up a procurement framework and rolled out a process
  • In depth knowledge of the IT market and offer
  • Strong analytical, negotiation and relationship skills
  • Contract management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in French and English
