ABOUT THE ROLE
Mission:
The Risk Business Analyst will help bridge the gap between risk function needs and technology solutions. She/he will work closely with stakeholders to understand goals and problems, then translate those into clear requirements for technical teams and manage efficiently the project to deliver it on time.
CFM SA looking to reinforce its risk management function with a person that can accompany the strong growth of CFM's funds by developing a new version of its its risk management application (operational risk, market risk, both end-of-day and real time).
Responsabilities:

Understand risk functions needs, define and manage functional requirements

Coordinate with Risk Technology Specialists to refine specifications and prioritize developments

Define functional use cases and run appropriate tests along the project life cycle

Chair project advancement meetings and produce deliverables for project management purposes

Maintain high-quality technical documentations (specifications, architecture, user guides)
SKILLSET REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS

Masters or PhD (or similar) in computer science, finance or engineering

Experience in complex IT projects in financial industry for risk management or closely related topics (trading, valuation, etc.)

Experience in projects involving Python (ideally Pandas, Polars) and Oracle/SQL

Knowledge in risk management (standard metrics, limit management…)

Understanding of trade life cycles (including execution and post-trade management)

Ability to investigate problems into complex systems and data.

Ability to work autonomously and pro-actively.

Ability to work collaboratively in teams on complex programs.

Ability to communicate clearly to key stakeholders.

Ability to work independently in a confident and professional manner.
Preferable but not essential:

Knowledge in Confluence/Jira

Knowledge in Tableau
-
Understanding of derivatives products and advanced risk management analytics

Practical use of Python (ability to write short notebooks)
