The Service Desk currently consists of 5 technicians in France, with regular onboarding of new resources.

 

We're looking for someone to maintain the technical knowledge and skills within the Service Desk, who will also have a coordinating role with the Ops team.

 

 

 

The profile we're looking for is that of an experienced office automation technician, whose duties will include the following, in coordination with the Service Desk manager:

 

  • Technical coordination of the team on Service Desk activities
  • Point of escalation/technical expertise within the Service Desk
  • Responsible for the technical interface between the Service Desk and the other teams
  • Keeping the documentation, scripts and tools used in the Service Desk up to date, in line with Ops recommendations
  • Identifying and proposing areas for improvement
  • Managing the technical onboarding of new recruits, acting as a reference/tutor
  • Ensuring that SD technicians at remote sites have access to the same technical instructions and apply them, adapting them where necessary to the specific requirements of the site
  • Carrying out documented Microsoft Ops actions
  • Managing the packaging and deployment of Microsoft software
  • Supporting the Service Desk team's skills development during the integration of new technical solutions
  • Technical assistance to users in the event of exceptional workloads or sensitive/confidential issues

 

The technical environment comprises all the technical building blocks needed to deliver office automation services, essentially based on Microsoft technologies.

The candidate will be in contact with all CFM employees.
